Find cheap Gas and Electricity suppliers – Save money
The cheapest supplier does vary by where you live, and also how much you use. What you’re paying seems shocking, unless heating Buck Palace.
I live in the Birmingham area, and don’t use them – similar to the earlier poster I use Southern Electric and Gas, but my usage may be markedly different to yours, as I pay around £30 per month.
Thankfully, you can earn money from switching to another supplier, or even some wine! Generally it’s best to switch both electricity and gas, as costs are lower for dual fuel supply – and more cashback can be earned.
If you switch, from the links in the money saving site, and use the link to moneysupermarket, you can get £30 cashback directly from moneysupermarket (they don’t pay that if you go to their site directly).

Look for the box that says ‘switch and get added cashback.’
I’d recommend the cash, as you can use that to buy whatever you want, including wine of your choice etc!
Whatever you do, you must use the links from that site, as going directly, even if returning, will invalidate the offer. Use that link, to get a quote for your home, and then either signup, or return later, via the link at moneysavingexpert, to get the same cashback offer.

I’m with Scottish and Southern, they are cheaper but tend not to offer guarantted future rates. Scottish and Southern also have by far the least complaints, Npower have the most complaints.
