I have been with another gas/electricity supplier as a prepayment meter customer.
Two days ago, thinking that British Gas might be cheaper, I called them. The salesman on the phone said they would send me an info pack.
Today, reading this pack, I realize that BG is much more expensive, so I called them to cancel. At first, a BG representative told me that it was fine.

I have recently switched suppliers to www.Utilitysaving.Biz who provide my gas, electricity, home phone, broadband and mobile and it is all on the same bill.
It is around half the price in total that I was paying before but I was seeing if anyone knew of anywhere cheaper as I cannot find anyone anywhere

I am about to change my gas and electricity supplier to try and get a better deal. I’ve used comparison sites on the internet and come up with what appears to be the best company for me. However, I now have to decide on whether I want a tariff with or without a standing charge. To anyone who doesn’t know (like me- I just had to look it up):
