At current I am on a top up key meter for electric and gas. With constantly changing energy prices I can not seem to find what the best supplier and/or Tariff for my household would be. I also fear one of those much heard about £700 gas bills.
Do you recommend I stay with top-up or do you truly save by going on a monthly tariff?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am about to change my gas and electricity supplier to try and get a better deal. I’ve used comparison sites on the internet and come up with what appears to be the best company for me. However, I now have to decide on whether I want a tariff with or without a standing charge. To anyone who doesn’t know (like me- I just had to look it up):
