Standards need to be implemented regarding the Unified National Smart Grid which is a control flow for Solar and wind energy….
The topic you are discussing is a bit more than most people here can comprehend. You will get your standards when the battery technology is sufficient to keep up. Solar and wind energy are very messy and require modulation to enter the grid. The battery problem will solve most of the problem. Until then the efficiency is just not there.
You don’t expect a real answer here. Do you?

Just imagine if they harnessed all the hot air in DC – I predict there would be enough energy for at least a decade.
